DispatchHealth Milestones: 2021 A Year in Review

Market team rover

As we say goodbye to the 2021 year, we are excited to celebrate wins both big and small over the last twelve months. DispatchHealth’s innovative in-home medical service has made leaps and bounds this past year thanks to our compassionate teams, courageous leaders, patients, and caregivers. So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at some of this year’s greatest accomplishments:

We Earned a 2021 Great Place to Work Certification

DispatchHealth was proudly Certified™ by Great Place to Work® in 2021 and Mark was named one of Denver’s more admired CEOs! If you aren’t familiar with this accolade, here’s a quick rundown: This prestigious award is based entirely on employee feedback. “In our inaugural year of participating in the Great Place to Work Certification™, 77% of our employees stated that DispatchHealth was a great place to work compared to 59% of employees in a typical company.” We are incredibly humbled by this award and want to again extend gratitude to our teams—we wouldn’t be here without you. We will continue to make our team members proud in 2022, centering employee happiness among our core values.

We Raised $200 Million in Series D Financing

Can you believe that DispatchHealth first launched its service in 2013? If we continue to follow our current growth rate, we’re predicted to generate more than $2 billion in medical cost savings by 2023! In 2021, we were able to continue this pattern by raising an additional $200 million in Series D financing. Our investments and funding have helped us expand our platform for in-home medical care to a total of 100 markets, making our advanced care line of service available throughout locations in the United States.

We Acquired Mobile-Imaging Companies

In 2021, DispatchHealth achieved a huge goal by acquiring Dynamic Mobile Imaging and Professional Portable X-Ray (PPX), two mobile-imaging providers. These acquisitions allowed us to perform mobile radiology and imaging services within patients’ homes, helping DispatchHealth expand our growing mobile diagnostic services. Over the past year, we’ve realized the potential of this partnership within our advanced care and extended care services, as it’s enabled us to provide ongoing care outside of traditional, facility-based settings. In 2022, we hope to continue this trend and eventually create the world’s largest in-home care network.

We Formed New Partnerships

DispatchHealth partnered with a number of hospital and health systems, and payers, community organizations, and emergency medical services in 2021. In doing so, we’ve empowered 11 healthcare organizations to expand services and offerings beyond traditional care settings. By leveraging our unique platform, which enables providers to support patients in the home with ongoing care for a wide range of injuries and illnesses, we’ve provided our partners with access to proven, value-based care that continues to redefine what’s possible for patients’ healthcare journeys. Some of these 2021 health systems and payer partnerships include:

We Launched 16 New Locations
