How quickly does the medical team arrive at my home in Seattle?

When you schedule your appointment, we’ll ask about your symptoms and give you a time frame for our arrival - typically the same day. Please note that the ETA may vary depending on the number of patient visits we have that day. When you call to schedule a visit, you will be given an approximate arrival time.

How much does urgent medical care cost with DispatchHealth ?

A visit with DispatchHealth costs roughly the same as a walk-in Seattle urgent care visit. The percentage of the total bill you’re responsible for is determined by your insurance plan. Note that if you have a high deductible plan, you will need to meet your deductible before your insurance will cover the cost.

Does DispatchHealth provide x-rays?

While many Seattle urgent cares don’t provide x-ray or ultrasound imaging, DispatchHealth does offer imaging to qualified patients. Your DispatchHealth care team can order x-ray and ultrasound imaging but does not perform imaging at the time of your initial visit. Imaging is usually completed 1-3 days after your visit and may be performed either in your home or residence (if you qualify for this service) or at a separate outpatient imaging center. Patients qualify for mobile imaging in the home or residence if they are unable to transfer to a brick-and-mortar location due to physical and/or mental difficulties. Their provider will need to provide a reason for portability in the documentation.

Can I receive hospital-level care at home?

Possibly! DispatchHealth Advanced Care is an alternative to an in-patient hospital stay for certain conditions that can safely be treated and monitored in the home. To learn more visit: https://www.dispatchhealth.com/patient-advancedcare

What if I don’t have insurance?

If you do not have or we are not contracted with your insurance company, DispatchHealth accepts payment of a flat rate of $375 at the time of treatment via credit card. This flat rate is for everything that we do, which includes medications administered, procedures performed, and on-site lab tests obtained. At times, third-party service providers may be recommended including imaging, labs, prescriptions or other healthcare services. In these instances, the patient will be billed separately by those services. Payment methods include credit, debit, health savings account (HSA), health reimbursement account (HRA) and flexible spending account account (FSA) payments.
