Daniel is an entrepreneurial technology leader with over 25 years of experience bringing high-impact and innovative products to market. He’s worked for companies such as Uber, Twitter, and Google, and seen many times how products can transform industries.
As DispatchHealth’s Chief Product Officer, Daniel is leading all technology functions, including engineering, data, product, IT, and InfoSec. With Daniel at the helm, the technology team is focused on enhancing the company’s clinical and operational foundation to enable better care.
In prior roles, Daniel helped transform the industries. As vice president of product at Uber, he led a cross-functional team of over 1,000 people, where they drove company success by skillfully engineering the right technology and products to set the standard for the best customer experience in an emerging industry. Prior to Uber, Daniel was responsible for two of the most successful and universal consumer technology products in history, Google Maps and Local Search at Google. As a product leader, Daniel conceived of and led Google Maps for Apple iOS initiative, which resulted in one of the most successful mobile app launches with over 10 million downloads in 48 hours which earned him the designation of Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company magazine. Before joining the DispatchHealth, Daniel was Chief Executive Officer at Mindstrong Health, a healthcare innovation company dedicated to mental health. Daniel is an active member of the Silicon Valley technology community, serving as an angel investor and advisor to dozens of international technology startups and early-stage venture funds. He holds an M.S. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NTB in Switzerland.
