This innovative partnership will deliver convenient, high-quality acute and primary care in the comfort of a consumer’s home, at work or in the location of need. Together, Centura Health and DispatchHealth are pioneering mobile health care to provide coordinated health care services, while improving access to high-value care.
Centura Health and DispatchHealth launched their partnership in October 2015 in the Denver Metro area. There are currently four DispatchHealth teams serving patients every day. Beginning in May, DispatchHealth will expand its services to Colorado Springs communities in partnership with Centura Health and Penrose-St. Francis. Skilled medical teams will be dispatched to treat common-to-complex illnesses, seven days a week, providing convenience and access to high-quality health care in patients location of need, at an affordable price. DispatchHealth will serve the Colorado Springs area and treat common ailments including urinary tract infections, dehydration, minor fractures, asthma, constipation, nosebleeds, nausea/vomiting, lacerations and more. The team will also be able to perform point-of-care labs, infectious disease testing, IV fluids, splinting and much more right in the home by a skilled ED-trained medical team.
