Alex has more than 25 years of financial leadership in the healthcare and a proven-track record of results-driven leadership, strategic finance, and accretive corporate acquisitions.
He has deep financial expertise as a key operator in one of the largest healthcare organizations in the public market. Prior to joining DispatchHealth, Alex held many leadership roles within UnitedHealth Group and Optum Care for the past 15 years. During this time, Alex served as Chief Financial Officer of Optum Care where he was responsible for financial management across all care delivery organizations, merger and acquisition activities, priority setting, and growth. In this role, he focused on leveraging his creative financial and operational experience to develop Optum Care into an integrated and differentiated care delivery platform. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Alex spent 10 years at Ernst & Young where he held roles within external audit and business risk services where he served companies such as Target, Northwest Airlines and Berkshire Hathaway.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
