Cardiac Care: How to provide quality care in the home

Join our Chief Medical Officer, Phil Mitchell, MD, MS and Christine Greimann, MSN, RN, PNP-BC, for an inside look at how in-home cardiac care can lead to improved health outcomes for patients and undeniable benefits for providers.

Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease , who have active cardiac symptoms, cannot always wait days or weeks to be seen. Additionally, an emergency room visit will almost invariably result in hospitalization, which may be unnecessary. As the leading provider of in-home care, DispatchHealth can be part of the solution, by bringing the power of the hospital to the comfort of the home.

While the first call during a cardiac event should always be to the cardiac care provider, if there are limitations in appointment access, the second call can be to DispatchHealth. We can provide immediate care for acute cardiac conditions, hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and more. We can also provide more advanced care for a patient recovering from a cardiac procedure.
