Cardiac Care: How to provide quality care in the home

Look for a reschdueld webinar to take place later this spring. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Join our Chief Medical Officer, Phil Mitchell, MD, MS and Christine Greimann, MSN, RN, PNP-BC, for an inside look at how supporting cardiac patients at home can lead to improved health outcomes for patients and undeniable benefits for providers.

Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease who have active cardiac symptoms cannot always wait days or weeks to be seen. Additionally, an emergency room visit will almost invariably result in hospitalization, which may be unnecessary. As the leading provider of in-home care, DispatchHealth can be part of the solution, by bringing the power of the hospital to the comfort of the home.

While experiencing non-emergent symptoms, the patients’ first call should always be to the cardiac care provider, if there are limitations in appointment access, the second call can be to DispatchHealth. We can provide immediate care for cardiac conditions: hypertension, heart failure, ischemic heart disease, and more. We can also provide more advanced care for a patient recovering from a cardiac procedure.

Attendees of this virtual webinar will learn more about how we can support both providers and their patients, with topics including:

  • DispatchHealth overview: Who we are and how we can help
  • Complex modalities for the high-acuity cardiac patient
  • Value-based care, current trends, and clinical case studies
  • Q&A

*If you’d like to hear the discussion but can’t make the live session: please register and you’ll receive the recording after the webinar.
