DispatchHealth Earns Accreditation with Distinction for Advanced Practice Provider Transition to Practice Fellowship

DispatchHealth is proud to announce that its Advanced Practice Provider Transition to Practice Fellowship has been accredited with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

This prestigious accreditation recognizes DispatchHealth’s commitment to providing exceptional training and support to advanced practice providers (APPs) as they transition into practice. The accreditation, granted for four years, from January 22, 2024, to April 30, 2028, highlights DispatchHealth’s dedication to maintaining the highest standards of education and professional development for its APPs.

The accreditation process involved a comprehensive review of DispatchHealth’s fellowship program, including an evaluation of its curriculum, faculty qualifications, clinical experiences, and outcomes. DispatchHealth demonstrated excellence in each of these areas, earning recognition for its commitment to providing a rigorous and comprehensive training program for new APPs.

Caren Misky, MSN, FNP-BC, FAAN, FAANP, DispatchHealth’s chief of professional practice and development, expressed her enthusiasm about this achievement. “We are thrilled to receive this recognition for the Fellowship, as it underscores DispatchHealth’s commitment to investing in professional growth and development,” said Misky. “By providing APPs with the resources and support they need to succeed, we empower them to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients and communities we serve.”

DispatchHealth’s Advanced Practice Provider Transition to Practice Fellowship is designed to provide new APPs with comprehensive training and mentorship as they begin their careers in in-home medical care. The program includes a combination of didactic education, hands-on clinical experience, and mentorship from experienced practitioners and educational leaders. Through the fellowship, participants gain the skills and confidence they need to provide exceptional acute care to patients in the home setting.

In addition to meeting the rigorous accreditation standards, DispatchHealth’s fellowship program has received praise from participants and patients alike.
