DispatchHealth’s Atlanta team[/caption] DispatchHealth can treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries, such as urinary tract infection (UTI), respiratory infections, fall injuries, the flu, migraines, dehydration and more. Our medical teams deliver many of the tools and technologies found in an ER, allowing our providers to perform a variety of tests and treatments, from blood tests to IV fluids.

Here’s how it works:

Request Care Our services can be requested by calling 678-321-8546, using the mobile app or visiting dispatchhealth.com.

Explain Your Symptoms When you call, you will be asked to provide a few details about your illness or injury and some information like your primary care provider’s name, as well as your address. Note that DispatchHealth shouldn’t be used in a life-threatening emergency and doesn’t replace your primary care provider but you can use it when they are unable to see you and you require immediate care.

Receive Care At Home On average, our trained emergency care providers arrive within a few hours. Each medical team consists of either a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, and a DispatchHealth medical technician (DHMT), along with an emergency medicine physician that is available by phone.

Rest Easy DispatchHealth will call in any prescriptions you might need, update your primary care doctor and process billing as an urgent care benefit. We accept many insurances, including UnitedHealthcare, and are continuing to grow our health plan partnerships. The medical cost for a DispatchHealth visit is nearly one tenth of the medical cost for an ER visit.

DispatchHealth is available 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., 7 days a week including holidays. Click here to view our Atlanta service area.
