DispatchHealth Is Coming to Louisville, KY
Residents of Louisville, Kentucky, have a new way to receive same-day medical care, and it involves staying comfortable and cozy at home! DispatchHealth is pleased to bring our on-demand, in-home medical care services to local families starting July 29, 2021. We help adult and pediatric patients avoid unnecessary emergency room visits by providing prompt medical care for a range of non-life-threatening medical concerns in a home setting. Simply request care via our website, app, or phone, and a fully equipped medical team will arrive at your doorstep in a matter of hours. Our professionals serve patients 365 days a year during extended hours, so we’ll be here when you need us.
Affordable, In-Home Medical Care
DispatchHealth’s in-home medical services run the gamut—in fact, we provide many of the same services as an ER, but at a lower cost and with less disruption to your day. You can call on our experienced medical practitioners if you or a loved one needs timely care for:
Bedsores or pressure ulcers
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations
Minor bone fractures
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Another non-emergent medical concern
Additionally, our medical teams are equipped with many of the same technologies you’d find in an ER, allowing us to provide on-scene:
Our team believes high-quality medical care should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer sensible pricing and accept most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. After insurance, most patients pay between $5 and $50 for a DispatchHealth visit.
Why Choose Us?
DispatchHealth’s in-home care services are an ideal solution when your primary care provider is booked or closed for the evening or weekend, or when you don’t feel well enough to drive to an urgent care center. Since we bring care directly to our patients, our services are especially beneficial for people who:
Are older or immunocompromised, with an increased risk of developing complications from easily spread diseases
Have limited mobility, uncomfortable symptoms, or a disease that affects memory
Cannot find adequate transportation
Have disruptive symptoms but do not require an ER visit
Require medical care after normal business hours
DispatchHealth is not a replacement for your primary care provider, and we don’t pretend to be. Rather, we extend the reach of your primary care provider by promptly sending your regular medical team a detailed report of our visit with you and collaborating as necessary to ensure continuity of care.
